Tired of being tired: Overcoming chronic fatigue & low energy, Michael A. Schmidt, Frog, Ltd. 1995

Most people these days do not get enough sleep. A great many do it deliberately - for example college students stay up all night partying, and can’t concentrate the next day in class (if they even go to class.)  They feel tired the next day, but if they go to bed, and get some restorative sleep, they’ll be fine the next day.

People with chronic fatigue syndrome don’t have that luxury. They feel tired all the time. And if you’re tired, you simply can’t think straight, you can’t enjoy life.

Here’s a book that tells you how to overcome chronic fatigue.

Filed April 11th, 2008 in Fibromyalgia.

The causes of fibromyalgia are unknown.  It is speculated, however, that it may be linked to a genetic predisposition, or might be triggered by some kind of incident - for example coming on after one has broken a leg or arm.
